Dr. Suwanee Chawla
MBBS, MPH, FRACGP
Suwanee graduated from University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2006. She has an extensive experience working in all the major public hospitals in South Australia before embarking on journey into general practice. She graduated from Master of Public Health from University of Queensland in 2014. She has enjoyed teaching medical students at University of Adelaide.
Suwanee has joined Arkaba Medical Centre in 2021 as final year of training with Royal Australian College of General Practice which she has now completed. Suwanee enjoys all aspects of general practice and seeing patients in all stages of life. She has particular interest in managing complex chronic medical conditions in her older patients. Suwanee has recently embarked on further training to expand expertise in children’s health. Suwanee is accredited to insert and remove Implanons.
Outside work, Suwanee enjoys spending her time and travelling with her 3 beautiful children who keeps her grounded. Suwanee can speak fluent Thai.
