Telehealth Policy Change

At the Arkaba Medical Centre, we strive for excellence and providing a patient-centred approach to medicine.

We aim to be uncompromising in our level of care and this means recruiting and retaining medical professionals of the highest standard.

To ensure that this high level of service is maintained, our clinic bills privately.

While we believe Telehealth has become an important part of general practice, it does not replace traditional face-to-face medicine and we have now introduced private billing for Telehealth consults to ensure that our patients continue to receive the highest level of care.

The revised fee schedule is in line with AMA recommendations.

As per our face-to-face fee policy, bulk billing is at the discretion of each individual doctor. The exceptions to this are Telehealth consults for the purpose of scripts or results only, which will be bulk billed.

Payment is required on the day. Prior to your appointment time, our reception team will collect the necessary credit card details to process the payment.

These details will remain confidential and will be appropriately disposed of after processing.

Concession rates for Pensioners, Health Care Card holders and students apply.
