Dr. Aparna Lockie

Dr Aparna Lockie is an experienced General Practitioner who has been caring for patients at Arkaba Medical Centre for over a decade. She earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Illinois and completed her postgraduate medical training in Chicago in 2001. Throughout her career, she has practised medicine across the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, bringing a broad international perspective to patient care.

She was awarded certification by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) in 2009 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2013. She also holds Certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).

Dr Lockie has a special interest in Women’s Health, Menopause Care and Lifestyle Medicine. She is committed to partnering with her patients to optimise their health through evidence-based, personalised care. Known for her attentive listening and compassionate approach, she empowers patients to make sustainable lifestyle changes that support long-term wellbeing.
