Dr. Aparna Lockie

Dr Aparna Lockie holds a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Illinois. During her career, she worked extensively in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. She obtained a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and holds a membership of the Australian Society of Psychological Medicine.

Aparna received her certification from the Australian Medical Council (AMC) in 2009. She became an accredited Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2013. Additionally, she has Certification in the College of Family Physicians (CCFP).

Dr Lockie is well-known for her expertise in combining Clinical Hypnosis with psychological strategies. She believes listening to her patients and motivating them to improve their health is at the heart of how she practices medicine. She specialises in Mental Health, Women’s Health and Chronic Disease Management. She skillfully performs Implanon Insertion procedures as well.
